During this session you will become familiar with the equipment, learn how to use the rope and discover basic belay techniques. How to make a figure-of-eight stopper knot, how to handle the Grigri during ascent and descent are essential things for a rock climber to master. During those first lessons you will learn to get comfortable with heights, and to communicate with your partner through specific gestures while enjoying rock climbing.
